Can I wean off my PPI with Yasu? +

Yes — this is why most of our customers start. Yasu is built to support you while you and your GP slowly wean off your PPI. The alginate raft stops acid as your stomach adjusts back to normal acid levels. The slippery elm, DGL and aloe calm the rebound. The L-glutamine heals the damage. Never wean off cold turkey — but with Yasu and your GP's guidance, the taper is significantly gentler than going it alone.

I've been on a PPI for years. Can I take Yasu alongside it? +

Yes. Yasu is designed to work alongside your current medication while you plan your wean-off with your GP. Many customers take both for the first few weeks while they begin tapering.

Will it clump when I mix it? +

No. We use instantized alginate — a more expensive form that prevents the clumping issue Soothe Naturals customers complain about. Your first box includes a frother for the smoothest mix.

What does it taste like? +

Vanilla custard. Light, sweet, easy to drink. We specifically avoided stevia, mint, citrus and all the flavours that trigger reflux.

Can I take it with my other medications? +

Yasu contains no ingredients that significantly interact with common medications. But alginate can affect absorption if taken within 2 hours of certain drugs — so take Yasu at least 2 hours apart from other oral meds. Check with your doctor if you're on prescribed medication.

Is it safe long-term? +

Yes. Every ingredient is well-tolerated for daily use. Yasu is designed to be used until your stomach has healed — then you reduce or stop. No dependency. No rebound.

Does it work for silent reflux / LPR? +

Yes. The alginate raft is especially useful for silent reflux because it physically stops acid from reaching your airways — which PPIs can't do.

What if it doesn't work for me? +

Send the empty tub back within 60 days and we'll refund you. No restocking fee. No questions. If Yasu doesn't help you, we don't want your money.
